I. Any past student of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka residing in UAE,may apply for membership.

II. The Association will accept membership application upon acceptance of theExecutive Board and receipt of the annual membership fee of AED 120.00 (One hundred twenty United Arab Emirates dirhams only) by the Association.

III. Members who timely renew their membership annually will be entitled to vote, holdoffice and participate in all activities of the Association.

IV. Membership of the Association shall terminate:

• Upon the Member ceasing to be eligible for membership;
• Upon receipt by the Secretary of the Member’s written notice of resignation and consented by Executive Board;
• If the Member’s subscription shall be twelve (12) months in arrears; Dharmasoka College Past Pupil’s Association UAE Branch – Constitution Page 3 of 7
• By expelling by a vote of two thirds of the Members at a General Meeting on a resolution presented for that purpose or;
• In the unfortunate event of the death of a Member.
