Dharmasoka College Past Pupil’s Association – UAE
The 6th (Sixth) Annual General Meeting of DCPPA – UAE took place online on Friday, 04th February 2022, using Zoom video webinar technology from 8 pm onwards.
We opened the event by honoring the national anthems of Sri Lanka and UAE, as well as a minute of silence in remembrance of war heroes who sacrificed their lives to protect our motherland during the three-decade war. Afterwards, the past Secretary Mr. Semage Nuwan Dhammika inaugurates the event by verifying the quorum required to officially start the DCPPA – UAE Annual General Meeting.
A report on the annual activities was presented by past President Mr. Kanishka Priyantha and a report on the treasure was presented by past Treasurer Mr. Lalitha Weerarathne, both of which were approved by the Sokians.
As stipulated in the constitution, for the year 2022 there were elected the following Executive Members: President, Secretary, Treasury, Vice President, Assistant Secretary and Executive Committee Members.
